Blogger needs your idea for improvement!
It’s true! Our honorable Blogger team has finally give every user a chance to shout out our thoughts and probably ideas to improve the Blogger.
I personally thought this is one of the most excellent decision that Blogger has made, and let’s see what we can do to improve our Blogger!
Submit new feature and more for Blogger
Blogger team is really serious about this idea submitting event, they want all our ideas for different aspect. You can submit a new feature for Blogger platform, or a blog which you think is worthy for a note, or probably some exciting ideas for Blogger gadget! All you need to do is sign in your Google account, get into the product idea page then start to submit and vote ideas!
Great ideas from Blogger User
It’s really amazing that I signed into the vote page, and started casting my vote without even pausing a while to consider about the ideas, they are great! Below are some good ideas which I personally feel that they can benefit Blogger user:
“Blogger’s commenting system needs to improve. Something like threaded commenting with the ability to rank comments would be nice; also Gravatar support and a link to the last post by the blogger submitting the comment.”
“Wordpress style pages, so we don’t have to hide “About” or “Contact” “pages” in our blog archive.”
“Read more feature , to have the ability to split long posts after certain number of lines or words”
“Allow batch uploads of photos for a blog post, so you can add several at a time, go make coffee and then write all your text, rather than uploading them individually.”
“We need custom 404 pages! Please!”
“Built-in Related Post support for Blogger. When a visitor views a post page they should be able to see a section at the bottom that says “Related Posts” with a list of other similar pages.”
“A ‘Contact page’ with a form to send emails to the author (could be inluded into the Profile page).”
“Integrate latest technologies like Facebook Connect and Twitter Connect for commenting system.”
“The ability to have sub categories for a label. Something similar to the hierarchy system. For example Reviews>PC>Software or Reviews>XBOX360>Halo 3″
“In Gmail we have 7GB to store ours emails. Why we can´t have some 700MB to store ours scritps, .SWF, images from layout, .CSS and all of types of archives that we use to construct the blog?”
Suggestions from Alvaris Falcon
I have indeed posted any idea which I think is good for Blogger and its user. If you think it can really improve the Blogger, you can also vote for my ideas! Please note that these suggestions are not represented by FalconHive, as some of them are just my wild ideas. I have also concluded many user’s ideas into one idea, which is the sentence below:
“Make all the Wordpress feature available on Blogger!” (smile)

You can submit and vote your ideas until Friday, 14 May to improve the Blogger! Do noted that some ideas have been repeated for several times, so you might need to search the important keyword before your submission to make sure that your idea has not yet submitted by others.

If blogger needs to be good i think it needs to follow wordpress. Most suggestions i saw on the blogger page were just telling to do like the wordpress things. All suggestions are indeed in comparison to the wordpress. So i really agree with alvaris saying “Make all the Wordpress feature available on Blogger!”. Really Blogger can only compete if it has more unique features then the wordpress on.
I hope blogger hear us.

I think Blogger must have do this wayback before, Wordpress have done a big changes and improvements and Blogger was left very far.
I hope soon they will re-organize Blogger so that we, subscriber of this free blog hosting will benefit like the Wordpress Subscriber do.
What really important is, we’re enjoying it free. :D

This is good to know. It is about time that the userface enable easy use of mp3 audio files on blogspot blogs though.
Oh how I wish blogger adds a smiley option for comments so we do not need to upload and copy and all those js scripts steps from commentluv! It’s too complicated…
