Artistic and impressive
I am impressed by this template since the first sight on it. Although its style is similar with the Desk Mess, the noteboook style post section and perhaps ’search box in the ball pen’ make it totally different with the other template! And the most important is, this beautiful template loads faster than I thought!

I like this template so much. I will be using this for my friend’s patient blog.
One question regarding the navigation menu: I played with the names for links thinking I could change it again but when I came back to the Layout| Page Element| I can’t find the “Menu” so that I can edit it to its proper names. Any hints of why it is missing?
Solved it already. Just changed something in the Edit template HTML into “yes”
loveeeee the template, thanks for making it, absolutely gorgeous! i’m going to use it if you don’t mind, thanks again! keep up the great work!
Please, I’m with problem to configure the date. Its showing UNDEFINED in the date place.I need help.
Sorry for my English, I’m brasilian.
Sure, you can follow the ‘Set up the Date’ section to setup the date properly. Please note that you are changing the ‘Timestamp’ format but not ‘DateHeader’ format.
P.S. Your English is nice enough to publish a great English post! ;)
olá!! adorei essa template, mas tenho uma dificuldade com o menu sidebar…não entendo de html…queria coocar links para dentro do meu proprio blog, criar páginas …esse tipo de coisa, mas estou tendo dificuldades…pode me ajudar?
I love this template but there’s a little problem… it works on the assumption that there will be enough posts on the left to balance the widgets on the right. If there are less posts on the left, the rings don’t get displayed fully down the middle of the notebook.
Can the code be changed somehow to repeat the ring image?
Thanks! :)
Thanks for your great discovery! I thought this is the settings of the original author, would took this for a discussion with the author! ;)
Hi,
I really like your bloggerised templates and I’m currently using one. Do you take requests to bloggerize WP themes? Because if so, I found a good one that blogger users may like. Check out http://www.unodesignstudio.com/Demo/
Keep up the good work!
I’m glad that you’re using this template!
Thanks for your great suggestion, you can follow our extremely easy requirements to submit your suggestion in the post below:
http://falconhive.com/2009/05/template-suggestion-for-june-2009/
Hope to see your nice suggestion there! :D
Already download it but cant use it. First time try out blog but accidentally fell in love with your coffee break template. Got to have it!
This is the prompt i received:
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. The server did not understand the request, or the request was invalid. Error processing resource ‘http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtm…
Thanking you in advance.
Thanks for your report, I’m glad that you love this Coffee Desk! :D
I have downloaded and checked the template, and it’s working properly. Can I invite you to try to upload the template to your precious blog again? Please noted that you’re uploading the XML file to the blog under the ‘Edit HTML’ section.
Hope this helps, enjoy Coffee Desk! :)
Hi Ysabel, nice to meet you, thanks for your friendly comment! :D
Sure, first of all you need to upload the XML file to your precious blog through the ‘Upload’ option under the ‘Layout > Edit HTML’ section.
Hope this helps, all the best!
Hi, I’m currently using this template (love it!) but, even that I tried to change the date as you suggest, it’s still showing UNDEFINED… so, what shouls I do?
Thanks :)
Thanks for your report! Can I confirm to you that you’re changing the ‘Timestamp’ but not ‘Dateheader’? Thank you! ;)
Hey! you were right, but because I speak Spanish those two options weren’t clear in the settings panel: the translation isn’t accurate, therefore my mistake. I changed the language and then saw what was happening.
Thanks for your help anyway (and I’m sorry, I must be the ‘I stopped counting the number’ person who had already asked this)
Bye :)
Hi I’m using your templant on my blog, but the configuration of relolution is 1280, there is no way to change this? or better add a scroll bar? My browser is Firefox 3
Thank you for this incredible templant
Thanks for your report! Can I know more about the ‘configuration of resolution is 1280′ is either based on your screen resolution or template’s image resolution?
If it’s about the template’s image resolution, it’s a tough job to make the template image size bigger through Photoshop or other image editing software. ;)
Hope to hear more from you!
Ok it’s screen resolution, not image, when the screen resolution is less than 1680 the screen appears not entirely.
This is really a great looking template and I’ve implemented it on a new blog. I have some questions though.
Is there a need to have the template images hosted some place else like photobucket or not? I noticed that the template images have a URL like http://3.bp.blogspot.com/…/bg_repeat.jpg so it appears the images are saved within blogspot. Will there be bandwidth issues when everybody pulls from this location or is there no problem with this?
If the template images need be stored in an image host like Photobucket, is there a quick way to download the background images? I tried “Save As” and “Web Page, Complete” but seems like not all images are downloaded.
Hi again,
Seems like I got an old zip file for coffee desk and they don’t come with the background images. I just downloaded the zip file from here with the images already. However, out of curiosity I’d like to get the answers for my query above.
Thanks in advance.
God Bless!
Hi Bob/ Colaycofan, thanks for your comment and this very interesting question!
In fact, as Coffee Desk Blogger template is freely available in many sites, there are some versions that helped you setup all images of the template, and you can just upload the template to your precious blog to enjoy the template immediately.
For my knowledge, your images’ source is Google Picasa, and it does offer unlimited bandwidth for image hosting, so you can enjoy this template without worrying about the bandwidth.
You can probably download our Coffee Desk Blogger template with the provided link in this post to get all images of this Blogger template, as we provide every image of our own Blogger template to lovely user like you for customization convenience.
Hope this answer helps, all the best! ;)
Hi,
Thanks for this template. I like this so much that I’m going to use it for my blog. I’ve already uploaded the images, set up the template, and replaced them with new links. However, some images on the right side of the page doesn’t seem to work. (bg_menu1, bg_menu2 & bg_sb2 etc.) Do I have edit something? I also like to stretch the background so it will fit perfectly on the page. I don’t know if you can see it, but the black background on the side of the page is present (I tried w/ both explorer & firefox) and it makes the texts of my posts harder to read. Is there anyway I could fix this? I appreciate it, thanks. : )
Joanne
Thanks for your very detailed report!
Sure, it’s actually about the Photobucket issue, you can log into your Photobucket account and under the ‘Choose files’ option, change the ‘Reduce to’ option to ‘1 megabyte file size’, then upload the image again and replace the image link to show your blog correctly.
Also, all your image links should look like this:
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a59/SummerRainStoRY/CoffeeDesk/bg_repeat.jpg
Hope this helps, all the best!
I love this template so much…im newbie and using this template at the moment…can u check at my blog if its working properly cos im feeling der still a space between my collum, gadget, and about me too large.
btw,how change font and colour?i tried so many time and still cant :(
thanks b4…
Nice to meet you, I’m glad that you love this template!
Sure, can I know your blog address to check your blog? Thank you!
As this template does not have color definition installed as a feature, you would need some specific knowledge to change the font and color. You can tell me the font and color you need to change, and I would guide you to achieve them.
Hope to hear more from you, thanks! ;)
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your further reply!
I have checked the template, and it’s displaying properly on my Firefox 3 with 1024 and 1280 resolution. Can I have your blog address to know the issue further? Thank you!
Hya..hows u?

Thanks for kind comment. :- )
but we request to leave your correct blog url.
Thank you.
I actually visited this blog yesterday. It looked fine but without the top menu (maybe not yet set). I visited it now but it says it doesn’t exist and can be registered. Funny, I used to think that blogger doesn’t allow deleted blogs to be re-registered.
yeah..im sorry i just change my url add today..heres the rite one:http://jsoebekti.blogspot.com
thanx b4..
Just one question though… why is it that the image background has a different effect for “Blog Archive” and “News” which are both one-liners? Is there a fix?
yeah..i noticed that..but im not edit the template all part.dunno wat happened..:(((
why didn’t my question show up?
Thanks for your precious comments! I have checked all recent comments in FalconHive.com and did not get your comment.
Did you use the other name to leave your precious comment, or can I invite to leave your comment again to let us help you? Thank you! ;)
My question basically asked for help with the template on my blog: http://katacomb.blogspot.com/. As you can see, everything is shifted to the left! I’d really appreciate any help.
Okay, so I changed the template to “Desk Mess” to see if that would work better, and it does, but there’s still a slight problem at the top. Dunno if you could help with that! Thanks so much. These templates are so lovely.
Hi.
Thats great that you liked our desk mess. If you are having any problems then please comment on the desk mess template.
Good luck.
why isn’t my question showing up?
hi there,
I’m a newbie and just uploading your template, it’s great..but my friends complained that they can’t leave their comments because during the verification stage, the page does not fit on the template well, so they can’t type the verification code in provided space..
***I guess you can’t understand what I’m trying to convey here..perhaps you can go to one of my post and try to leave a comment, then I believe you’ll understand…appreciate for your assistance..thanx**
Hi, eiyda.
Just saw your blog. The comment section seems to be all right. May be u should check again.
Best of luck.
Yeah it looks alright, but did you try to leave any comment there?
Because I didn’t see your comment there…the problem occurs when you are required to type in the verification code, before the comment will publish..appreciate if you could help me again..thanks..
Hello. Thanks for your report once again.
We have added the error you mentioned to our task list and will let you know whenever it is possible.
Thanking you.
i got problem when try to use that template
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function post_class() in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/wp-content/themes/coffeedesk/index.php on line 27
can u help me?
Hello.
It seems that you are trying to upload this template to wordpress instead of blogger.
All the best.
Love the template. I just need to know how to replace the generic arial title with my own logo image. Is that even possible?
Hello aelm.
We highly advise you to not to change the image because it would cause design problems.
I love layouts that look like notebooks; they remind me that blogs started as online journals after all. Using this for one of my blogs. I have a question: I need to put a header ad, but it cuts the pic on the top of the blog. Is there a way to put a header ad without disturbing the layout? You can look at my blog, http://simplengkaligayahan.blogspot.com, to clarify. Thanks :(
Thank you very much for your precious comment.
This blog has not been designed to display any header ad. So you will have a problem always in displaying an ad in the header.
Hi, i m useing ur template, its sooo nice, but i had to change the header coz its for a business blog. i was re-editting the new top, so i had to change it almost all, coz i really love the diary .. but the top, center and bottom background doesnt work. what can i do? im not really good with html so i think i delete something… can u help me?
this is my link: http://news-shayma.blogspot.com/
Thank u!! Mayra
Thanks for your comment Marya.
You have created an excellent new design. Congratulations. But since you have totally modified the header code. I can not suggest you which part of the code you should you edit. This will also be a personal customization request which we do not handle…
Good luck….
Hi — love the theme! I’m currently using it :) Did a couple of edits to it, I hope it’s OK.
I was wondering is there was any possibility to “erase” the blog’s title and description? If yes, how? Thanks! :)
Cynthia
Hi Cinthya.
You can leave the title field blank if you do not want a title. But you should not edit the header section.
All the best…
I just added this template to my blog and I love it. Thank you!
Hello Liz.. We are very happy that you liked our work…
Hi, I’m a newbie to CSS and the template isn’t working for me so I was hoping you might be able to help.
I uploaded the template without problems, but I needed to host the images somewhere so I uploaded the images to Picasa, went into the code and inserted the links. It didn’t seem to work.
I’m including a sample of the way I cut/pasted the URLs (I tried both the link to image (image only) and the embed image only option on Picasa if that helps you.
{
margin:0 auto;
font-size: 11px;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif;
color:#000000;
background: #000000 url(http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/NBV5U1d0dNrltKRnxUcsvQ?feat=directlink) repeat-y center top;
}
This is the best template I’ve found and I can’t wait to use it, but I’ve never edited CSS and have no idea what I’m doing wrong.
Thank you in advance.
Please try the image only link which must end in .jpg or .png extension. Do not link to the page…
Best wishes..
Hi, I was wondering how I could get my blog to look like the preview, with the pictures going all the way across instead of the black stripes on the side of my blog. I uploaded all the images to photobucket and inserted them correctly. Here is my blog: http://detailsdetails-hanna.blogspot.com/
If you can help, that would be great! Thanks!
I just visited your precious blog… There doesn’t seem to be any image problem at all. You done an great work.
Keep it up..
Hi – I was thrilled to discover this template when I decided to move back to blog*spot with my own domain! It is absolutely my style & personality!
I have played with it a bit and have a problem. When you view the home page: http://www.thequeenmommy.com/ the sidebar widgets have moved below the content. If you click any of the item menus, however, the sidebar widgets appear on the side…
What did I do? =) I’m afraid I know enough html to really get things screwed up! Any help you can provide would really be appreciated.
I keep getting the Photobucket “bandwidth exceeded” image. :(
Hello, from Portugal!
I wonder if you could please help me.
I thank you for this template: perfect!… I’ve change to it a few days ago.
Everything is working fine and I was able to solve some little doubts by reading in here ( like the red ‘undefined’ thing! … :) )
What I could not solve until now is the QUICK EDIT function missing!!
I still have it at the sidebar widgets and in the template dashboard, but not in the posts. Even the pencil is missing.
By reading I understand that some more are having the same problem, but could it be fixed? and how?
Can you please give me a hand?! I’m trying hardly by myself for two days and I’m almost getting crazy with this!!!
Itá a really important and useful function so please help me putting to work, please!!!
Thank you so much!!
PS – pardon my bad english, please!
Pleaseeee…..
Can somebody help me with the problem I report above???…
Thanks in advnace!!!
M.
We are very sorry for our delay in replying to the issue which is troubling your precious blog.
To Enable the “Quick Edit” feature. you need to visit your blog’s general settings page and enable it from there.
all the best.
Hi, I have followed all the steps (uploading my pictures onto my host site, changed the time stamp)..
BUT the pictures are not appearing on my page! Alignment is fine, but the pictures are missing!
Thanks a Lot for your Report.
Please check the if you have included the INverted commas (’ ‘) in the image url or not.
The Correct format of the URL Must be:
<img src=”http://urhost.com/image.png” />
All the best.
Hi,
I love the template, there were a few kinks that I worked out on my own. But, there is one last major issue with the template that I simply can’t figure out on my own.
The margins of my blog are black, and the side images appear(bottom, repeat, top), but are covered partially by the middle images (header, etc.) While this is workable – it’s not as pretty as the template is intended to look. How do I fix this?
Is it perhaps a problem with my browser? I’ve tried it with Safari, IE, and FFox.
Thanks,
Aubrey
Please Check if you havee uploaded all the images and added the URLs to Template Code.
All The BEst
I finally got everything uploaded, fixed the time and date thingy, I was fuzzy eyed and kept changing the wrong box. BUT I cannot for the life of me get the RSS feed to work. I have tried several times just like you said, any ideas?
Valerie
After many tries I finally got the RRS subscribe to work, BUT, now I still have solid black sides on the page. I have downlaoded again, uploaded to photobucket, and edited again, but still the black sides remain. There is one spot by the RSS feed on the edit HTML page that will NOT let me chang the Image Link Here, no mater what I do it says eror. Any sugestions?
I am extremly sorry. But, your blog doesn’t seem to use Falcon Hive’s Template.
Hi.
The template is amazing.Thanks :)
but i cannot find the quick edit post (the pencil button) anyway. The code seems to support it but no where to be found.I’ve enable my general setting.
Please help.
Please clear your Browser cache. Then try again.
I LOVE this template. Finally, one that I can live with and love!
I have a coupld of questions. I’ve scoured the comments to be sure the questions hadn’t been answered already…
There is a subtitle underneath the header that doesn’t show on my blog…nor can I change the title of it. When I try to edit that page element I get an error that the code is wrong.
Second, the little post it note header buttons along the top aren’t showing either. I read that it’s a photobucket issue and I tried to change it, but I can’t even find how to do that on photobucket – seems they changed since you replied to that issue last.
Please feel free to have look and let me know…
http://bellavela-cristina.blogspot.com
Thanks again,
Cristina
Please check if you have uploaded all the images and pasted the url in the template code. This will fix your Second issue.
Please give me a little more details about your first issue.
Thanks
I was able to get the first issue resolved and triple checked the pics for the header post-its – still nothing!
:-(
Thanks for getting back to me!
Cristina
how do i get rid of the ugly black side margins? other blogs using this template have the images on the sides. i can’t seem to make that happen..
You are getting this error because you have probably missed out some image.
PLease check it.
Thanks.
Nice template.. How can i put welcome not at header? Just asking.. Tq.
I like it so much! Thanks for providing us like this. :)
Thanks a lot for your kind reply.
I LOVE this template! Thanks so much for sharing.
