A Blackout of Photobucket Account

Posted In Blogger Templates - By Falcon On Thursday, February 26th, 2009 With 19 Comments

As our templates are being more popular in Blogger world, we have ‘proudly’ achieved the maximum bandwidth limit of Photobucket free account, which accidentally causes all images failed to display.

If you are currently using the template hosted by Falcon Hive, we invite you to stay patience, as we would solve this issue in these 4 days for you.

Every free Photobucket account came with 25GB monthly bandwidth limit, and once we exceeded the limit, all of our images would fail to display in anywhere of the internet. However, the images and videos have not been deleted but would be reactivated in every 02nd of the month, when our bandwidth would be reset to 0.

In these days, we would study the Photobucket Pro account and probably upgrade the account to get the unlimited bandwidth, to make sure that our template’s images displaying correctly and permanently. Until then, we ask for your forgiveness and patience to wait the issue being solved.

If you are on the emergency, you can either change to our template hosted by other template directory like Btemplates.com, or probably download our non-hosted template and host the image in your own image hosting account like Photobucket or Picasa. You can then replace the image link to your own link to solve the display issue.

We thank you for all patience and support, and promised to continue improve our service on hosting free Blogger template. We know it’s free, but it’s equally essential to every precious blogger, and we always work out best to support you, thanks!

  4. lightgale says:

of course, on picasa there is no fee, for a considerable amount of Mb, but, can one use it for the image hosting for blogger themes? alvaris, could you give us a clue?
I actually tried but did not succeed.

  8. Hi lightgale,

Thanks for your words! I thought blogger can use Picasa to host the template’s image for Blogger template, as Btemplates.com is using the Picasa to host their template image.

    Hope this helps. ;)

  9. Hi Deadfire55,

Hey i tried hosting the images provided in the folder but there are many images mentioned in the template which are not there in the pics folder. Please check it

When a publisher goes to his or her problem with the images hosting, they usually go for a paying hosting account. I think the photobucket images hosting still remain the big boy in their niche.

Plus, Picasa support by google such a good choice for switching when you’re new and still no need to pay for a pro. But we’re not sure about their newest features. No limited bandwidth but how about the loading speech?

  13. ImageShack allows unlimited bandwidth for videos and slideshows, and allows each hotlinked image 300 megabytes of transfer per hour.

  14. wow!new template finally! :D great job man ^_^ i see there’s slideshow carousel from zinmag primus? no offense, but isn’t it wiser to hosted the jsscript on your own server?

About the article, i haven’t moved the images given on my “takupol” since i’ve been strugling to ‘create’ my own template, geez..it’s really pain in the ass..i don’t know how do you survive it..hehehe

    Succes for you,
    Radith ^_^

  15. Hi Radith Prawira,

Thanks for your encouraging words! This template is actually modified from Zinmag Primus, and I’m asking my respectful partner’s permission to host the file in our site. :)

Thanks for your patience in waiting the image to be recovered to normal. We would probably solve the issue in next day by move into the Pro account package, since we are satisfied with Photobucket’s service.

I believe that you can create an awesome template for your wonderful blog! It’s quite painful as you told, but touching when you finished the great job, cheers! :D
