Suggested by the Hive reader Maher, I have converted Toughpress theme to Blogger template. So check out this brown creative template and makes your ads look pretty cool today!

Creative ads is indeed attractive!
This is the first time that I saw the specially designed ads, and it’s very beautiful and creative! If you applied Javascript on the ads, you would see the cool hover effect and I guarantee you would play with it for several minutes! I thought ads design is very important as it can attract the people to click on it, even advertise on your blog.
How do you think about this template? I do love to hear your comments and suggestions in every second, thanks!

The problem you might face is the file format, it is a zip file.
After you downloaded the zip file, you have to unzip it and upload the Toughpress-Blogger-template.xml to Blogger, then you can see the Toughpress appeared on your blog!

I have visited your blog and realized that the fifth ads image is missing, the proper reason is that,
background: #25241E url((http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e2/alvaris924/Toughpress%20Project/ad5.gif);
you put “((” before the “http” as it should be only “(”
It’s possible to change the ads image to other image like you expressed, the only key is to design an image with the same size, which is 240×100 pixel and upload it to the server like Photobucket, link to your template and an awesome look is done!

Wow you have a highly customized blog and beautiful header images, nice to meet you ;)
I have checked your blog’s xml code and discovered that your ‘search button’ is still there, but perhaps overlap by the ‘Merry Christmas’ image.
For IE’s view, I have tested Toughpress template and it looks perfect in IE.
Your blog looks very nice with Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera. People cannot view the blog normally in IE is generally because the IE does not support some extensions or codes you put into the blog, may be you can do some adjustments to fix both problems.

You can actually change the header image by finding the code below and replace the ‘YOUR-LINK-HERE’ with your own image link.:

I have visited your blog and seems the first 3 ads are very beautiful and displayed properly. The comment square is also showing on the right place, a cool anime blog! ;)
As for the Javascript code, I believed that unless you have a same design with the original ads image, the code would only works properly with the original ads image.

I really like the design of your template. I made a few minor modifications, but there are still a few things I can’t get to work correctly.
The RSS feed for my comments and posts, on my sidebar, don’t seem to be updating. Do I have to redirect them through a proxy site like feedburner?

The RSS feed for comments and posts need time to update, so please don’t worry about that.
For the Link section in the demo, I’m actually use the Link Gadget, it can be found through the ‘Add a Gadget’ option.

hi alvaris it´s me again.
well my blog works well now, i had to remove the java script for ads because cause some glitches in firefox. (works good but the glitches are anoying)
i have a ahrd time changing the width of side bar… really i want to expanda a little,,like 250-285,
also to get the most of the space in the left ( that 30 pixels) so i want to put at the extreme of the left the post box. and changing the width from 753 to an 700.
can you help me?

hi alvaris, well its me again and again xD ,, maboroshine. wow, you are working ahrd on your last templates :D, I am very tempted yto change tempalte, but i have to much work (like two moths) in my current one :D
well i need your help in this one cause it will be a must have and will be a great idea to implement in your next ones templates.

I can´t seem to find out how to hide the title. I have a new header, but don´t want the title to show. I tried but I can´t seem to find where to hide it.

Nice theme i also create blogger templates just a suggestion that you could restore the look of the layout view by using CSS code such as
body#layout #outer-wrapper{width:800px;}
and so on also you could hide the credit links by adding class=’hide’ then writing CSS rules such as
body#layout .hide{display:none;}
that way it only affects the layout view and not the actual view of the site because blogger adds id=’layout’ to the body tag but strips it out when the template is viewed ;-) i always use that on my free templates over at http://templates.lawnydesigns.com download one and you will know what i mean

Hi there.
Im using this fabolous template for my blog, but i cant insert the javascript. Blogger gives me an error every time i try.
I tried using the script on the original WP Toughpress template and didnt worked neither.
I tried using just the ads code/css and the javascript on a DreamWeaver page, and it worked perfectly, but i cant make it work on blogger.
Any clue on why is that? Many thanks.
